You are The Crusader, the last member of an ancient order of holy warriors pledged to defend the mortal plane against horrors from the abyss. The realm has been quiet for centuries. Your fellow defenders have all been slain or lost to the mists … but something is stirring. Something evil. Rumours of horrors stalking the wilderness have reached your ears in your mountain fastness. The Age of Hell is an intense FPS in the GZDoom engine that features ominous, imposing level design and high energy, intense gameplay. Pick up an array of holy weaponry and lay waste to the hordes of hell. What started off as a solo project has become a massive collaborative effort to create with over 20 people bringing serious talent to help bring this to life. The idea is to create a massive set of hell themed maps across 6 episodes, each with their own unique theme and feel. The gameplay will be similar to classic doom, fast paced and action packed while taking advantage of modern coding to spice things up and add variety.
