The installer is automatically downloading the game as a ZIP file from the creator's free, publicly accessible Patreon page, which is identical to the ZIP file provided on the Discord server and the itch.io game website. Furthermore, as a bugfix to prevent potential issues when saving game progress, a blank, default configuration/savegame file is being written to the game directory.
