【READ FIRST】
Steam Deck users: download "dxvk" from discovery and then run "sudo flatpak update" in Konsole.
Flatpak Lutris is recommended.

【Lutris】
Download this installer. Do not launch it yet.
Extract https://github.com/Kron4ek/Wine-Builds/releases/download/10.16/wine-10.16-staging-amd64-wow64.tar.xz into:

Lutris Flatpak: ~/.var/app/net.lutris.Lutris/data/lutris/runners/wine/
Lutris Native: ~/.local/share/lutris/runners/wine/

in Lutris: Right click Need for Speed: World -> Configure -> Runner options -> Wine Version = wine-10.16-staging-amd64-wow64-x86_64

【Launcher】
Install base game & login. The game will crash.
Verify the game files twice.

【Steam Deck Analog for Unsupported Servers】
CAUTION:
Analog is only properly available in desktop mode with this program.
This program will eat your desktop controls if you do not fully close it. Have a keyboard and mouse ready.

In sc-controller: Menu -> Settings -> Advanced -> Enable Automatically Disable Emulation When Closing GUI.

You can just use the default Xbox Controller for movement controls. Otherwise a preconfigured Steam Deck control is in the Discord server.

From Discord, download NFSW_SteamDeck_1.sccprofile.tar.gz and unpack into ~/.config/scc/profiles. Then select the profile in sc-controller.
