The year is 1905, Mary Clarissa Christie lives a peaceful life attending university with her friends Angelica Derleth and Charlotte Bronte as her mother is abroad.
In a chance encounter she forms a contract with a strange man in a black suit, known as 'M', and begins to help him hunt Metacreatures that plague London.
