Installation instructions:
- after you have installed SA-MP and SA-MP Addon it is recommended to right click the San Andreas Multiplayer entry in Lutris, then Wine configuration -> Staging and "Enable VAAPI as backend for DXVA2 GPU decoding" for better performance
Known bugs:
- Using SA-MP with Non Staging versions of Wine will not show you the health bars and names of the other players

Wine 0.3.7-R5 + clean DVD install version last published 4 months, 2 weeks agoThis will also install a clean DVD version of the game automatically (as long as you have it). Also the installer includes the SA-MP Addon 2.3 which enables 1080p resolution and many other features and improvements.Update SA-MP to 0.3.7-R5 and change SA-MP Addon to a trusted source!
Installation instructions:
- when the installer for the SA-MP Addon pops up, browse to the directory where you have installed GTA San Andreas and the patch will be installed with no problems (it does not detect properly the game directory)
Tip:
- if you are using wine staging after you have installed SA-MP and SA-MP Addon it is recommended to right click the San Andreas Multiplayer entry in Lutris, then Wine configuration -> Staging and "Enable VAAPI as backend for DXVA2 GPU decoding" for better performance
Known bugs:
- (the same behavior as on Windows) if you try to run GTA San Andreas from this installation the mod will break and to fix it you must delete "gta_sa.set" from drive_c/users/"your_user"/My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files/
- SA-MP Addon doesn't properly detect the game installation folder and you will have to point it manually to the directory where the addon is installed
