Works only for the platinum edition.
Before starting the installation, download the offline installer from GOG.com to your computer.
1. When the Railroad Tycoon II Platinum Setup installer opens, read and accept the EULA and hit the Install button.
2. Ignore "Runtime Error (at 69:1358)" and click the OK button.
3. Ignore "Runtime Error (at 198:800): Invalid Opcode" and click the OK button.
4. Ignore "Runtime Error (at 198:807): Out of Global Vars range." and click the OK button.
5. Ignore the "Out of Global Vars range." message box and click the OK button.
6. As soon as the installation succeeds, click the Launch button to start the game.
