Steam Proton version last published 4 years, 6 months agoThe wine desktop is to prevent resolution changes/crashes upon fullscreen. The game would crash upon alt+enter in i3 and set my resolution to 640x480 without it.
fullscreen also doesn't scale, so there's no point in doing it.
