This is the an alternative installer version for graphic cards that hasn't Vulkan support, so if yours has, use the Vulkan installer version instead.
With that installer, the game runs with a lot of artifacts, but is playable. To get it work, your GPU must also be compatible with Gallium Nine and have the properly driver installed (Mesa built with Gallium Nine support). You can change the game graphics quality on the fly through the keys F1 and F2, use that to set the one with less artifacts.
During the installation, you must keep the default install path and uncheck the "Launch Chase History " box.
At the first start of the game, the launcher seems to close itself at some time on the mid of the game download. If so, just reopen the game and the launcher will continue to do its job.

This game doesn't work with the Wine default DirectX implementation, so this installer use of DXVK, which with the game runs perfectly. However, this implies that your graphics card must have Vulkan support. If it doesn't, see the Galium Nine version.
