Wine GOG + 1.5 patch version last published 2 years, 9 months agoThis is the installer for the GOG Version + the unofficial 1.5 patch from ee2.eu (needed for multiplayer and more in-game functionality).
This script downloads the newest patch version automatically.You need to install Wine dependencies first, like for the blizzard app: https://github.com/lutris/lutris/wiki/Game:-Blizzard-App#dependencies-for-blizzard-app
You also need to install MS fonts like explained here: https://github.com/lutris/lutris/wiki/Game:-Blizzard-App#system-dependencies-for-fixing-font-rendering-errors
Select YES when you get the Unsupported Operating System message during installation of the patch.
When you start the game the first time you get a message telling you to not use the compatibility mode, just click yes.
If you have missing textures try to disable DX9 in the UP1.5 Settings.

As with previous installments in the series, Empire Earth 2 challenges you to create, build, and lead a civilization to transcend the ages. Empire Earth 2, however, builds the series by adding new units, powers, leaders, and bonuses to all of the game's 14 civilizations. Cities, territories, and borders are now tradable resources, much like they are in the real world. For the first time in the series, ambient weather and seasons with fog and snowfall affect gameplay, forcing players to adapt their strategies to the changing environment.
