Wine GamersGate Downloader version last published 2 years, 3 months ago2.1beta patch (final)- GamersGate Downloader versions of CK and CK:DV required, although it should also work with a plain setup.exe.

- You will need to login to the GamersGate Downloader with your email and password.
- The files should be called "Download Crusader Kings.exe", "Download Crusader Kings Deus Vult.exe", and "DV patch.rar".
- You will need the `unrar` command available on your system (e.g. `sudo apt install unrar`)
- The intro video (Paradox logo) plays in the top left.

- If you set a custom resolution (especially widescreen), the menu may be skewed to the left, but the actual game will be properly scaled. Doesn't work with all resolutions.
- The default resolution is so low it's a bit fuzzy, but higher resolutions can make the text too small. On a 1080p screen, 1600x900 seems to offer a decent compromise between sharpness and readability.
